Neck breaks in Les Paul type guitars aren’t uncommon and I’ve had several such broken necks in for repair over the past year.
This particular one isn’t the usual Gibson Les Paul neck break that occurs at the headstock or an import guitar with a 2 piece neck that breaks at the joint.
This break is part way down the neck as you can see from the photo.
This break has been repaired in a guitar workshop before so I had to start by removing any old glue.
Next, you can see the glue applied and then the neck reassembled and clamped.
I’ll show you a little more as the repair progresses.
