Riveter pickups are wound using 42 gauge enamel coated wire and Alnico V pole slugs.
They are slightly hotter than the Plater and give a little more punch without destroying the well defined highs and lows.
These are my favourite pickups.
When you run them clean the highs ring like a bell and the lows are full. I use these with the Peter Green switched mod and the sound is achingly beautiful.
Drive them a little and you get the sound akin to Gary Moore. Drive them more and you are really into te realms of Rock.
- Bridge Position DC Resistance: 8.0Kohms.
- Neck Position DC Resistance: 7.0Kohms
These pickups come with 4 core wire as standard and you have a choice of Double Black, Double Cream or Zebra bobbins.
